Following and running your athlete's meet

Raising your athlete's next attempt

Scan the QR code on the Coach/Run screen at the venue, or follow the link the meet director sends you — either lands on the Coach Portal, no app install and no account needed.

  1. Pick your name from the coach list for the competition.
  2. Set a 4-digit PIN the first time — only you ever know it. This is what stops a different coach picking your name later and changing your athlete's weight; if you forget it, ask the meet director to clear it so you can set a fresh one.
  3. Pick your athlete, and enter their new declared weight for the next attempt. Most meets apply it straight away — it updates everyone's screen, the operator's Entry screen, the public Scoreboard, the Run Sheet, immediately. Some meets have the meet director turn on official verification instead, in which case your change goes to a named adjudicator first and shows as pending until they accept or reject it.

If the clock is already running for your athlete's attempt, a valid weight change stops and resets it automatically — so a loader isn't racing a clock that's about to be invalidated by the change.

Once you've verified yourself on a device, that device stays locked to you for the rest of the competition — picking a different coach's name from the same device always asks for that coach's own PIN.

Watching the meet

  • Scoreboard — every lifter's attempts, best lift, and live placing, with the next weight they're attempting shown right in the upcoming attempt box. Tap “Follow athletes” on your own phone to narrow the board down to just the lifters you care about, and save the board as an image to share.
  • Run Sheet / Coach screen — who's up now, who's on deck, and the live clock, grouped the way the meet is actually running.
  • Results — once the meet director marks the event completed, both public screens switch over to final placings by weight category.

Registering a lifter

If the meet director has shared a registration link, a lifter can enter themselves — name, sex, weight category, and opening attempts — with no login. The meet director can still edit or correct anything afterward in Setup.

Powerlifting vs Weightlifting — what to expect

  • Your athlete's Scoreboard card shows Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift as separate rows.
  • The Run Sheet splits into a Light rack and Heavy rack — check which one your athlete is in, since the two run in parallel.
  • A called weight has to be buildable from the platform's actual plates, in 2.5kg steps by default.
